The following commands are available through the File submenu:
 

New	Creates a new document. It is advisable to immediately 'Save as' the document in order to give it a name.
Open	Opens an existing document.
Open Example	The same as open but starts from the Strawberry Prolog folder.
Close	Closes an opened document.
Save	Saves an open document using the same file name.
Save As	Saves an open document to a specified file name.
Print	Prints a document.
Print Preview	Displays the document on the screen as it would appear when printed.
Print Setup	Selects a printer and a printer connection.
1, 2, ...	Opens directly the file whose name appears after the number (these files are the last four files saved).
Exit	Exits Strawberry Prolog.
