Strawberry Prolog - a compiler of the programming language Prolog was presented by the leader of the team of programmers Mr. Dimiter Dobrev on December 3rd 1998 in Sofia University. The system is adapted to solve a broad range of problems. The developers believe that the successfully created user interface makes it suitable for beginners as well. They aim at creating a version of wider application compared to the rather specialised realisations created so far. Sells of the product are already a fact in Canada, Sweden, Great Britain and USA.
 

December, 1998

On December 3rd 1998 in the faculty of Mathematics and Informatics of Sofia University a presentation of Strawberry Prolog version 1.0 (an original Bulgarian Prolog compiler) took place. The creators Dimiter Dobrev, Stoyan Mihov, Angel Genov, Dimitar Gelev, presented the basic features and abilities of the product.
